Join fellow coaches from across the county for an engaging day of learning, collaboration and professional discussion at this year’s Coach Forum.
Delivered in partnership with Durham & Cleveland and Northumberland LTA, this Coach Forum is designed for coaches who are passionate about developing their players, programmes, and businesses. This year’s Coach Forum provides an opportunity for coaches to connect, explore new ideas, and share best practice both on and off the court.
Join us for an on-court session looking at Future Proofing British Juniors. Led by an expert tutor, this session will focus on the fundamental technical, tactical, physical and mental skills that underpin long-term player development. Through a range or practical activities and coaching scenarios, coaches will explore how stronger foundations can help create more adaptable, resilient, and successful junior players.
Complementing the on-court learning, the forum will also provide coaches with the opportunity for off-court discussion around the wider challenges and opportunities facing our sport. Building a Sustainable Workforce Pipeline will bring coaches together through interactive discussion, looking at practical ways to create more opportunities for young leaders, assistant coaches and volunteers, helping to strengthen the workforce across Durham & Cleveland and Northumberland. The session will provide valuable insights, fresh perspectives and opportunities to learn from others working within the region.
This forum is more than a coach development event – it’s a chance for the Durham & Cleveland and Northumberland coaching community to come together, build stronger connections, and be part of shaping the future of tennis across the county. By bringing coaches together from across the region, it creates a shared space for ideas, collaboration and energy that everyone can take back into their own programmes to help grow the game locally.
