LTA Safeguarding & First Aid

We offer LTA Safeguarding and Emergency First Aid courses that are required for LTA Coach Accreditation, LTA Officials Licence Scheme and LTA qualifications.  Safeguarding is also required for LTA Welfare Officers, at LTA Registered Venues.

Safeguarding

If you want to join the LTA Accredited Coach, or LTA Officials Licence scheme, or become an LTA Welfare Officer at an LTA Registered Venue, you will need to have safeguarding training. This course teaches you how to safeguard children and at risk adults by enabling you to recognise, respond, refer and record concerns in a tennis and padel environment.

Emergency First Aid

If you want to join the LTA Accredited Coach scheme, you will need to hold a valid first aid certificate this is no more than 3 years old. If your First Aid certificate expires whilst you are accredited you should renew as soon as possible.

We have our own First Aid courses available to book across our region delivered by Tim Taylor from Hands on Heart First Aid.

We have also linked up with Leeds Beckett University who  offer two First Aid aid courses per month at their Headingley Campus. Click here to check out the dates and book directly with them.
