Introduction to Padel Coaching

This course will provide coaches with some elementary knowledge and skills to offer basic Padel coaching to their repertoire.

This course is running on May 28th from 9am – 2pm.

Delivered by an experienced padel tutor, this course offers padel coaching knowledge and skills to tennis coaches, other racket sports coaches, and Padel enthusiasts. It also gives candidates the opportunity to find out about the next steps in padel coaching, including the LTA Padel Instructor readiness test and the LTA Padel Instructor course.

*PLEASE NOTE: This is not a coaching qualification.

During this course you will:

• Understand game situations and court positioning for Padel and how to teach them
• Learn some basic ways of teaching players how to use the back glass
• Understand and practice how coaching skills differ from tennis coaching to Padel coaching, including feeding
• Learn and play some games to take back to your venue and use it with players

For Court Craft RA / SC, please apply no later than 14 days before the start of the course / workshop / online learning to allow the team to assess the application and give the required support.
